Space Race – India’s first solar mission is likely to be launched in June. The Indian Institute of Astrophysics has handed over the primary payload of the solar mission to the Indian Space Research Organization.

Protecting Wildlife – The Tamil Nadu government has announced setting up of a Turtle Conservation and Rehabilitation Center. It is one of the most biggest and comprehensive step taken by a state government to conserve turtles.
Digital Security – An IIT Madras incubated firm has designed an indigenous mobile operating system called ‘BharOS’. It provides privacy and security to users. Currently it is being used by organizations where users handle sensitive information requiring a secure network for communication.
